Blackpool Tower

Blackpool Promenade

Blackpol Promenade can be divided into 3 distinct areas. North Shore, Central, and South Shore.

North Shore from the North Pier to Bispham along the cliffs past uncle Toms cabin. This is really the most historic part of Blackpool's Promenade as it has changed little since its construction in Victorian times.

Central is between South Pier and North Pier, this has undergone an £80 Million rebuild. This has created a number of headlands and spanish steps from the promenade to the beach.

These headlands are used for various events during the season including the Illuminations Switch On which is on the Tower headland which also contains the Comedy Carpet.
